Thanks for trying out one of the D Utilities.
Currently there are four written:
DD A replacement for the DOS DIR command. This program shows it's output
in colour, and in a handfull of different formats, such as 1, 2, 4, or
5 column output. DD shows total size of the files. DD also works in
the extended EGA and VGA text modes (43 and 50 line modes). DD can
accept multiple filespecs from the command line. DD can also sort
output by filename, extension, size, or date if you desire.
DDel A replacement for the DOS DEL/ERASE commands. The look and feel of
this program is very similar to that of DD (as they share the same
program logic). This program can accept multiple filespecs from the
command line like DD and has options for prompting before deletion
in addition to other things.
DClock A 2896 byte memory resident clock that displays the time only when you
want to see it. You only have to hold down the ALT and Left-SHIFT keys
and the time will pop onto the screen, promptly disappearing when you
let go of the keys.
DCls A simple utility that will clear your screen no matter what size it is.
Usefull if you are using an extended EGA or VGA text mode (35, 43, 40,
or 50 line) but do not have a version of DOS that supports it (pre-4.x).
Both DD and DDel allow default parameters to be set up in the DOS environment
through use of the SET command.
